I need to vent!!!!

Currently I have only 4 teams running, they are 12-28 over the last 10 games! I drafted 2 of them with only the intent of setting a couple of records, doubles for $100m and triples in a 45m theme league (yea I know no record book for that one, but if I hit more triples than an 80m leader I will feel vindicated). Another is a small ball, speed team (80m) and early on Nevdullys and I swapped thirdbasemen. I gave up Molitor, he gave up Honus. Molitor promptly got injured (and dropped) and Wagner has hit a blazing .241/.304/.395 for me, they are 53-67 with a -7 run differential, in other words they SUCK!!! Another is 1-9 lately and in last, early. Made 2 changes on that team yeaterday (cheap Stan Hack drpped for Edgar Martinez, and cheap Pesky for Reyes) and proceded to get swept . This is one of the most pitiful stretches I have ever been through. Just needed to get it off my chest!!

Yep, just another reason to piss and moan. Hope the next one changes the trend!

Curiously, we had a theme league years ago where everyone chose a record to shoot for. I chose strikeouts by batters, and did pretty well. The "doubles" and "triples" themes did poorly.

I remember that record-shooting league. I went for fewest errors and beat the previous title holder. Think I've been bested twice since then.
