I believe mpcharette (1 ring) is currently behind ycbill (1 ring, 3 finals) in their tie for fourth. However, if he wins tonite and gets the additional point, he will be alone in fourth.

gbrookes already has 12th place secured, so he is free to lose to me in our Game 7!

Congrats to JPav in our event 5 playoff series, with a great come-from-behind 3-1 series deficit win!

At least one 2nd place finisher in the tour
And four former champions in the tour
- going to be really tough to play .500 ball and even tougher to make the finals from this league.

Looking at League 1, there is some formidable competition. Then I started looking around for the "soft" divisions, and quickly realized...there aren't any...

Semi-Finals managers:

The ballpark draft is moving along slowly but surely. My plan is to build out the three leagues late on Friday. Then, if everyone loads over the weekend, you'll still have plenty of time to wheel and deal before official play begins a week later.

Please keep an eye on the boards and start building your teams now. Be ready to load when it is your turn, to keep things moving expeditiously. Remember, we need to load by divisions (four at a time), so if any one person falls off the grid, the 11 other managers will be forced to wait on that one guy.

My championship was so long ago we played the games with paper cards and dice. The internet had not yet been invented and Hal was on Long Island actually running things from an office in Port Washington.
