2015 Tour Semi-Finals Thread

Given that all three stadium drafts seem to be stuck, I went and checked the rules to see if there were some time limit on how long people had to show up, but it doesn't look like there was anything listed. This would be something good for Keyzick to include in the rules next year. I recall that gbrookes had to replace some semi-finalists last year and the replaced people were not happy about it when they did reappear on the boards.

Note that I am not suggesting that time should be "up" for any of the three people we are waiting on now. Obviously we can't wait indefinitely, though. It would be nice if there were some way to contact people to let them know the draft is going on. I PM'ed LongIsland4Ever, who we are waiting on in my league, but that message is still sitting in my outbox unread.

League 1 - Waiting on UncleNY ~39 hours
League 2 - Waiting on LongIsland4Ever ~45 hours
League 3 - Waiting on Zendoggy ~57 hours.

After six months of competition, I will give a lot of latitude to all the semi-finalists to get checked in.

We are done with five events and it's not even the end of October. This is a lot different than finding ourselves much deeper into the calendar year, with everyone getting antsy because the new cards are about to come out. For that reason, I did not establish a hard deadline. I don't think conceding a bit of flexibility does anyone much harm here.

I remain hopeful everyone will be checked in very soon. I will still open the leagues and get things started tomorrow night. But if we remain waiting on a few players, I ask for a bit of patience. I think we're a good ways away from declaring forfeits (just ONE day after Event 5 officially finished).

Just want to add my two cents to the apparently unanimous opinion that J-Pav has done/is doing a terrific job as Commish this year. Also, great thanks to keyzick for stepping up for next year. As k's already said, J has set out a great template for future commissioners. As a longtime participant, methinks this marks a significant milestone in the history of the Tour.

We should be done with the ballparks soon. I will open the three leagues tonite and send the password to the East (remember to keep in your assigned divisions).

Please keep checking the boards so you can load your teams at the appropriate times, mindful of moving things along for the others in your leagues.

Everyone is now checked in and the ballparks have been selected. I will build out the three leagues tonite and forward the passwords to the teams assigned to the East. Please monitor your private message boxes accordingly.

Also, please remember to stay in your assigned divisions.
