Let's talk about the Cap Hit on default leagues

Wow, John's blog today mentioned this thread and a change in policy and league defaults in reaction to this thread!

This is the single most encouraging thing I have seen since strato took over from TSN. I admit I had come to think of any such thread as a joke because nobody with the power to make a change would ever see it and if they did would never follow through. If this type of responsiveness were to continue it would make a huge difference in my attitude toward spending future dollars on online strat.

I did email John with the thread trying to persuade SOM. I'm glad it worked. I'm glad we had a nice courteous discussion on the topic, with no name calling and hijacking of the thread. That definitely helped!!

How about a poll asking if anyone is in favor of a sliding value for implementing Reverse lineups?

I'd LOVE to see that changed.

PS, it has been rather pleasant around here of late, would love to know the inside story if there is one, but happy to see a more peaceful harmonious forum.

good job geekor (and friends). this change really has me excited to start my next team. I am still pretty new at this, and will never get as deep into the numbers as a lot of vets do. this adjustment will allow me to experiment with some new mixes, and make other changes once the league starts coming into focus.
