DUAL FRANCHISE LEAGUE SEASON 7

I cannot cut and paste with this device....I am picking the CARDINALS


Also wanted to point out another minor change; the Marlins are now combined with the Rockies as an expansion team and the Dbacks stand alone as a franchise.

I know I'm the new kid here, but I've been in other leagues like this where the Yankees were split into prewar and postwar to level the playing field. Should that be considered for this league?

Why are you making it 13 expansion franchises. I don't recall what the combos were in regard to SD/COL/MIA and ARI, but I would have just left those combined as ARI by themselves do not particularly help any franchises

As I mentioned on the most recent season's message board: another way to neutralize the strength of the Yankee franchise was put together by warrenbob in a league entitled "even the playing field". It's a little different format in that it was set up to be a 12 season commitment in which the managers rotate through the 12 strongest franchise season by season. Certain players are assigned to the teams plus there is a tiered draft of players from remaining franchises with some teams picking three additional players, some 2 additional, the giants getting 1 and the yankees none. There would have to be some minor tweaking done to use it in a single season format but it is an effective way to bring the yankees down a notch. It's not a dual franchise type league so it wouldn't fit here but it is interesting and something you may want to look out for if any replacement managers are needed.

Adding the FULL ATG8 set AND ALSO raising the salary cap just makes the top teams that much better

.....and more of a challenge for me picking at the bottom....will make the victory that much sweeter


I just wish we could find a way to put the Negro League players in. Who cares if they don't have RP's. You need to pick another franchise anyway.

if the top 4 of the the top 6 teams at don't make the playoffs with this cap, they should play DRAFT KINGS.
