I have some questions regarding the rules on player eligibility. If the high card for a player's team goes undrafted, does the next highest card on a team that gets drafted usable? For example, if the White Sox don't get chosen, and the Phillies do get chosen, can Allen's Phillies card ($7.88 mil) be used by the Phillies?
Also, what if a team with the high card for a player doesn't use that player? Does the team with the next highest card for that player get to use the player? For example, if the Yankees don't use Paul O'Neill, do the Reds get to use their version of O'Neill?
Lastly, I've been in leagues where the highest priced card controls which team has rights to a player. But some of those leagues allowed the team with the high card to use ANY VERSION of the player, even a version not carded to the team. So, for example, could the A's, who have the highest priced Reggie Jackson card, use $5.38 mil Jackson, who is carded to the Yankees?
Let me know. Thanks for your help. - Bernie
