I was the one that couldn't draft until this week, and I'll be available to draft starting Tuesday afternoon, in case we want to get started before the holiday.

Are we firm on player draft order being the same as stadium draft order?

Also, I am traveling this week, but will be able to check daily. However, no time clock would help until after the weekend.

I will make some posts here this afternoon. Just checking in this morning.

At least one person said they were away - I think they're back after Thanksgiving.

We can get started, but I'd like to patient for people that will be travelling this week.

I'll post the details this afternoon.

Looking forward to this second season just as much as the first time!
:)

Am I missing something here? Why do we need a stadium draft? I was thinking there is a franchise draft, then a player draft.

No, I just wrote "stadium" rather than "team."

In our first season's mail, Geoff sent out a mail message that said he was looking to start the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Don't know if that's still the plan as this filled pretty quickly. But....that's what he originally said in the beginning.

What was it from the first league that leads us to think the teams that pick early needed the added advantage of picking early in every round?

It is revenge on my #23 pick Phillies taking Frank Thomas in the player draft and almost making the playoffs. The top pick franchises felt they need more top line players to compete with the franchises nobody really wanted. It is just another example of the rich getting richer. What is you say about he who makes the rules? Or is that counting votes?

Actually the top picks get mad at the low life's drafting their players. I am not sure there is a good solution for the other than to just take your ball and bat a go home.
