Mystery game-refresh-input from SOM

PostMon Nov 23, 2015 10:35 pm

I haven't seen any updates on the question if there are any plans to update the 80s game-including adding additional players. So, I sent a question to online support-here's the question/response from SOM-in summary, there are no plans to update the game.

Can you provide any insights/plans related to the Mystery Games-in particular, any potential plans to reprice/add players to the 80s games?

There are no immediate plans for the Mystery Games although re-pricing players and potentially adding more to the 80s game is a possibility for the future.

Sincerely,

A simple re-pricing would be like adding new players since some (70s Roger Repoz, I'm talking to you) are so overpriced they might as well not be in the set.

That's too bad. I really wish they would come out with some new stuff for the mystery game.

I too have encouraged them to update the 80s game player pricing and add additional players. I even provided them with a long list of players that should be in the 80s game who aren't.

I also put together a player list for a new mystery game that would be in the years prior to 1960. They replied by saying these things are not in their immediate plans.

I remember when they were switching over to the new platform they mentioned that it would be easier for them to make changes to the existing player sets. It hasn't materialized ... yet. I guess there must not be as much interest in the mystery games as the others, as most of their efforts seem to be devoted to updating the ATG player sets.

Personally, I would love for them to normalize the salaries in the mystery games that already exist, add some players from the 50's and earlier and create an ATG Mystery Game. I think it would draw in players of the ATG game who have never played the Mystery games. Dare to dream.
