JTJ, Hawk and Big A are in. WC comes down to Smoke and Spider and Smokey has the tiebreaker. He'll need to gain a game to get in.

Spidey has 3 with MG and Smokey has JTJ, but he's at home where he has been good.

My bunch definitely has been "water seeking its own level" over the last week or so. I need a sweep to be sure of edging out Smokey.

JOE, how could you lose three the Smokey?!!!

Game 162, Lester and Kluber locked up in a scoreless duel, with Lester winning in 11 1-0. So, I had the guy pitching my last game, but came up short.

Congratulations to the Renegade Hawks. In The Gap and the Hawks had a great season-long battle.

See ya' next season.

Sorry Spidey, we blew a one run lead in the 8th of game one (Donaldson, A Cabrera and Cozart all rolled on their cards to score a run) , losing in bottom of 9 (he rolled 7 of the last 9 on his card. It happens. :? ) and then our comeback fell a bit short in game two (another one run loss). In the last one, we were close until the 8th.

I have to admit that I sat a couple of guys. Sorry man, but it had to be done. I hope you understand. I figured I could still eek out a game, but it was not to be. Casilla just couldn't get the job done. :(

Thanks GB.

We have to face Big A in the first round. Facing that kind of pitching and D is always nerve wracking. You just don't know if you'll score enough runs.

Joe,

I always thought you're cold as ice. So I really believe you won't be nervous a tad for a virtual baseball game. :D

Well, when watching the games via the replay mechanism, you never know how many runs you'll be able to score off of your squad so they tend to be nail-biters.

I'm sure it will be a good series.

Or it will be a lousy series because we will hit .131! Yeesh, that was horrible.

YOu got three of your 4 hits in game one in the same innig for two runs and Felix made it stand up (we got a paltry 3 hits). In the second one Goldschmidt goes deep for 2 and we can't score even once with 5 hits. Pathetic display of hitting at home.

This is why I don't like playing good pitching teams in the playoffs. You have to roll on your card and you have to roll well on your card. It was close to 50/50 we just didn't do anything. :(

And, losing Tulo for 8 of 9 innings in game two doesn't help. He'll miss only game three, but after losing the first two, that's a tough break. :( Of course, that's the chance you take by drafting someone like him. I think we have enough overall offense to make up for it, but we're going to have to get luckier than we were in the first two. :?

As for the other series, I predict, win or lose, Smokey will have the better run diff! ;) Winning the first game by 17 almost assures that! Holy Smokes, that's like a football score.
