Eaton a 4 in CF is BS. His range rating is better than Pollock who gets a 1. SOM is drinking some serious kool-aid. It's much like how they come up with clutch. Sure their EXCUSE and REASONING is that it's and RBI equalizer. Lets look at it this way. If the cards are a reflection of how a player performs why should he be negatively punished for hitting in the clutch with runners in scoring postion and 2 outs? Seems to me your downgrading performance NOT exhancing how he actually performed.

But they aren't. You are under a misconception.

The cards a a means to simulate the just completed MLB season and to get virtually the same results that happened in the MLB if the cards are used in the same way the game were played out, ie- at bats innings pitched, same substitutions made etc.

PS thanks geekor for posting the list. I know I've helped in years past, can't do it now. No more stay at home dad for me, I'm back in the work force full time.

And if, as the extra stats say, there are on 15 or so clutch chances  per season per team it doesn't matter anyway.

Strat has been much nicer to rookie defensive ratings this season than in any season I can remember.

Good for that change
