almost done. looks like 2 more picks. so I thought I'd re-post this regarding the Autodraft card as it is critical to the league.

On your Autodraft card:

1-5 must be the players you drafted in the FA draft
6-15 must be only players carded to your team (they can be multi-carded players...this is where you will fight for unselected multi-carded players.
16-25 can be anyone (obviously it would be dumb to put someone in these spots that was drafted in this 5 round FA draft as you won't get him)

if you got a compensation pick for losing 7 guys, then that pick would go in spot #6 and DOES count as a core guy.

you must have 15 "core" guys on your team.



Core guys are guys that have a card with your team PLUS any player that you drafted from Sea or Cle franchises.

remember if you trade later for a SEA or CLE player that was drafted in the FA draft, he DOES NOT count as a core guy for you, he only counts as a core guy for the team that drafted him in the FA draft.

It is VERY IMPORTANT that we all get the Autodraft cards right as you MUST place guys carded to your team in spots 1-15 before attempting to "steal" guys to your team in spots 16-25. If you don't do this it screws everything up....I don't want to have to ask for copies of your draft list after the AD runs (although it can be done) so please everyone know how to do the AD card or ask if anything above is not clear to you.

With the addition of the compensation picks I believe we should consider revising how we put together our AD. Since those franchises that got the extra picks must place those players in the #6 slot they seem to be at a disadvantage in acquiring the remaining high valued multi-carded players since they can list them only as high as #7 and the other franchises can list them starting at #6.

I'd propose we flip the first five drafted players to the bottom of the AD list since no one else should be drafting them anyway so the AD would look like this...
1-10 be players carded to your team (they can be multi-carded players...this is where you will fight for unselected multi-carded players.
11-20 be anyone
21-25 drafted players

The only caveat being if you had a compensation pick he should go into the #10 slot so you're still able to compete for the top multi-carded players AND so you don't get a jump on those players anyone can grab.
