Can someone help me with...

Are there any computer game players out there who can teach someone who is not great with computers how to get my, 1979 "Batters" and "Pitchers" pictures download into the computer game in my 1979 season? This is very frustrating.

Sure. Where did you download the photo pack from?

Did you download the pitchers, batters, and alias files? (3 files in total)

If you have all 3 files it's a straight forward as placing the photos and alias files into the correct folders.

Hey Robert thanks for the help. I did download the files but I can't seem to figure out how to drag and drop them into the game files. I am not sure it was three files, it might have only been two, batters and pitchers. I downloaded the files a while back from a SOM related sight... I remember someone said something about unzipping the files? I feel like an idiot but I have no clue how to even access the downloaded files while the computer game is open on my screen... Do I access the game files first or the batters and pitchers alias files first?

RB, the most basic way to install the photo packs:

1) Copy the batter photos into the "../Players/Batters/" folder
2) Copy the pitcher photos into the "../Players/Pitchers/" folder
3) the piece I think you might be missing, cut and paste the contents of the "alias.txt" file that was provided with the photo packs that you downloaded into the "alias.txt" file in the ../Players/" folder.

Without the alias data from the download, the photo's won't show up. Basically the alias file lists the player, if it's a hitter or batter, the team name, year, and photo file name. It points the player to the photo.

My recommendation would be to register at Strat Fan Forum and bookmark the thread below, it contains many years of photo packs and alias files.
