How did I know Qksilver would be Ernie's first trade partner.

Only one thing for clarification I'm assuming the prospect pick is the Spring prospect draft since the pick number is listed. Just FYI Ernie we have two prospect drafts every year Spring and Summer. It is a different order for each so therefore they are different drafts with their own first rounds.

I'll look over the particulars in about an hour to make sure no drops are needed.

I hate to throw a wrench into this deal, but Qk traded me Braden Shipley on June 14 this year in the Jose Quintana deal.

As an aside, if Ernie is really interested in Shipley, I surely could include him in a deal for Gray that could be just as compelling as Qk's offer.

Ok after dealing for Gray, we would still love to acquire one more * SP with a card projected at $5M or better. For a stud SP in the $7M plus range we can include Lance McCullers.

Gregor Blanco or Josh Reddick - Blanco rated 1 in CF, 2 in the corners. Reddick 2 in RF.

Ben Paulsen - good pop vs RHPs.

Rosario is a prospect and edub1969 is already at the max of 10 prospects. Normally I would not allow this deal as is, but seeing as Ernie is new to the league, I will allow the deal to go through and immediately move Rosario to his active 40 man roster.

qksilver will need to post a drop as this deal puts him over 40 active players

Another thing to keep in mind Ernie, 5 of your 10 prospects will need to be added to the 40 man roster when we do cuts, or dropped as they are at their 2 year limit for prospect status. Also you currently own 6 prospect picks so you'll need to promote ( or cut) at least one additional prospect at the time of roster cuts just to have room for your spring prosepct picks.

Got it Bill...it looked like from the spreadsheet you sent out that I was at 38 at the time so adding Rosario makes 39 and I'll promote Austin Meadows now as well from the '14 list taking me to 40. Thanks for the heads up.

Ok, be easier for me book keeping wise, if you just waited until draft time, when everyone is doing cuts and promotions, but if you insist I'll do it now.

Not insisting at all. If it's easier on you to wait, that's fine with me. If more deals are made that effect the 10 prospects limit then I can promote if necessary at that time, since it looks like prospects can be promoted any time as long as there's roster space available.
