Guess we're back to the recruiting boards to replace Musial6.

If we use the card set titled 'Andy's Alt season 1' the player set will only contain players who played before 1920. It will not include NeL players, and it WILL contain cards from post 1920 (for those players that played before and after 1920).

This card set might enable a more coherent draft.

Just an idea.

This is a good idea, so if you miss a pick you at least receive an eligible player.

No interest in serpentine draft. Little confused here. You mentioned Nergro league players. Are negro league players included in this league?

I have to travel again in a couple of days, so I'd delay a serpentine draft whether I wanted to our not; thus, I prefer the original planned autocracy. As for how to identify eligible players, just set the years under the advanced search to end with 1920, and don't draft the 1920 Ruth card. It's pretty easy.

OK How do we access 'Andy's Alt season 1' But I still want a gentleman's agreement about no Ruth 20. use him as a pitcher is OK.

It's among the ATG8 Shuffled Card Sets. You have to scroll down quite a ways but it's there. There are a bunch of "'Andy's Alt Season" sets there, but I have my team all set up and Season 1 will do the trick. Be aware that there are some extra cards from the 1920s there too, but just like the Ruth card, don't pick any of them or you'll have to dump them before the season starts.
Oh, and Merry Christmas!

Let's drop the serpentine draft and Andy's alternate set if it will let us do an auto draft. And if not we will just do a normal auto draft and you'll have to end up with players from 1871-1920 after the waivers period. Its not that much of a hassle in my mind. In the mean time I will try to round up another player.

Rules:
1. Only players from 1871-1920 with a "db" designation next to their team, with the exception of Ruth 20. No Ruth 20. You can use pre 1920 Ruth as a pitcher however.
1A. We are using Andy's special set but the above rule applies. If you get players after the autodraft that do not fit the above criteria you must exchange them for players that do.
2. Must use deadball stadium. 1920 or earlier.
3. 100 million cap
4. No DH
5. Drop default (5/10/20)

1. Lanier64 - 80 mil
2. 1787 - 100 mil
3. ctstough- 100m- dh (otherwise HAL will pull pitchers- this way they stay in longer; plus there are few RP's, but I'm cool with anything
4. Ursoid - 100m no DH
5. bontomn - 100m - no dh (there appear to be a lot of SP/RPs in the set.
6. LMBombers - 100M no preference on DH or no DH
7. FALCON29 - 100M DH
8. bmilner - 100m - no DH
9.
10. Yountfan - no preferences
11.jeromewilkins
12. thaibill - 100m, no DH

There are some players (Roger Hornsby for example) in Andy's Alt Season 1 that do not have a card from 1920 or before. This set will greatly reduce the chance of not getting a player in the AD that you cannot use but will not be perfect.

I have contacted SOM to see if they can either tell me how to create a set of 1920 and before (no NeL) including stadiums only from those years, or if they could create such a set for us.

We can either just use Andy's Alt Season 1, which is pretty close, or wait to see what SOM replies to me for an exact custom set of players for this league. Up to you.
