Damn Omar Vizquel didn't get in? They already have that card in the 1999 game, why can't they add more cards at a much faster rate? I am a big defender of SOM, and they are a tiny little company, but come on man you guys can do more than five cards at a time once every few months. This is silly!

We get 22 cards, not 5. You only get to vote for 5, but they take the top 20, or in this case, top 22.

Terwilleger 90 OPS+, 5 votes, interesting backstory I suppose since he had not played in either of the 2 previous years.

Twig played the previous two years to 1959. In 1957 with the Minneapolis Millers and 1958 with the Charleston Senators, both teams in the AAA American Association. He was 32 years old when he joined the Millers.
Terwilliger will celebrate his 90th birthday on June 25.
If I’m able I’ll be nominating him again for the next card addition. My hope is fifteen or so of you folks will wish to honor this gentleman who wore the uniform of baseball for over sixty years and during WW II the uniform of a Marine for two years.
Sure, there are better Strat cards than Twig’s. It’s just than when I think of greats and baseball Twig’s name always comes to my mind.
Meanwhile I’ll take some small pride that Twig received more votes than Johnny Dickshot.

Hes using a bit of hyperbole to state the case, not that he really believes its only 5 cards...

folks go to restaurants and just eat what is on their plate.

folks who will go and just never return.

folks who will go and attempt to let the establishment know if something on their plate isn't right, but still attempt to come back.

I wasn't commenting on his complaint, just letting him know that Vizquel was indeed in the Additions. I thought it was good news to get 22 instead of 20.

Maybe its just me and a few of the folks I spoke with about this-- definitely possible.

But when was the last card addition? (the answer is last JULY was the voting, yes LAST JULY )

getting 2 more cards to me is unimportant. It costs how much more to just add all the cards?

Am happy to just shut my mouth now, b/c if nobody else cares that we aren't seeing but a few new cards then no worries.

I tried giving up saying what I really think but guess its not really my style to just remain mum when something doesn't sit right.
