Ever consider divisions by salary?
As I said it's gonna be semi-randomized, with the top payrolls having a greater chance to be in the same division. I want some randomization so that people don't make their team selection knowing in which division they will be.
East division will be 1939 Yankees, 2001 Mariners, plus 4 teams randomized among the top 10
Central division will have the four teams not taken in the East, plus 2 teams randomized among the 11th-14th payrolls
Midwest division will have the two other teams among the 11th-14th, plus 4 teams randomized among the last 10 payrolls.
West division will include the two lowest payrolls, plus 4 teams randomized among the last 10 payrolls
