To be honest guys I never even thought about the possibility of someone putting 2 NEL players on his draft list with the hopes of getting a one elite player.
So like others have suggested we could do the honor system......or else we could make a rule that any manager who has 2 or more NEL players on his roster upon completion of the draft will forfeit his right to a free agent. I think this would prevent managers from trying to cut corners. What do you guys think ?
I agree.
However, you need to make a ruling on Paige because it conflicts with 2 rules.
Rule 1 - "you can choose the BEST card of a player if ONE of them is in your franchise and the other BETTER card(s) is either NOT drafted or not used by the other manager after the start of the season. (as in my case with Frank Robinson - clearly no one picked Baltimore so based on your rule, I can use his Baltimore card.
Rule 2 - "only 1 NEL player on a roster"
