No problem. Thanks everyone.

I thought that the draft would be performed this morning, and that we would see our teams before the frenzy. Don't know why actually it's not done this way! :(

According to Strat
The Auto-Draft for this league will be run the next time the clock hits 11pm ET, at which point the Frenzy begins (i.e. all undrafted players become available as free agents on a first come, first served basis).

Marc - just to clarify again - please confirm:

1. Only players with salaries under $1 million are available to be claimed as free agents in this league.
2. Marc, are players who are carded to franchises drafted in this league available? I don't think so.
3. Are we required to keep ALL players carded to our franchise year? I think so. In other words, for teams with 27 carded players for that franchise year, do they have to have all 27 on their strat roster, and therefore can only acquire 1 free agent?

Thanks again Marc. Love this league. I just want to be sure I understand the rules. :)

Re my third question above - I think all players carded to the franchise on that year MUST be kept on the team's roster.

Here's a quote from Marc's rules on page 1 of the thread:

"2) Before season begins, all players with a card with the given yearly team must be part of the roster (even if this means having a roster of 26 players)--(with the exception of the teams listed above that have other instructions)"

As noted - certain franchise years have exceptions to this rule. Anyway, it looks like we didn't have many franchise years drafted with large rosters (i.e. more than 25 carded players for a year).

Re my second question above, I think I'm correct that we must avoid taking "free agents" that are carded for a particular year to teams that are drafted franchises -for that card year.

From Marc's rules on page 1:

"3) All teams have unlimited access to sub-1M players that are not in teams picked up"

So if a team and franchise year is "picked up" - i.e. drafted in our 24 team franchise draft - then the players carded to that franchise for that year can't be acquired in free agent transactions, even if they are under $1 million, because they are *required* to be on the roster of the drafted franchise year in our strat league.

With no draft I think I shouldnt add the draft guys-yes?

If I get you right, you did it correct as long as your draft guys--your fillers--are worth 1 million or less.

An autodraft will occur, and then ithere will be the frenzy

Fillers can be $1 million or less.
