Day 6 - Round 6. Like clockwork.

Okay, it's one of those clocks like Stonehenge, where you set the time on the equinoxes.

But advancing ever forward we are...

I do find it interesting to see which players very good managers like by looking at this live draft. Some of the picks are a bit surprising. Wouldn't it be interesting if each manager (after the teams are completed of course) discussed why they selected as they did and what their strategy was?

Gentlemen, let's do better today. Yesterday's effort was lackluster at best. If you know you won't be available for 7 hours, or 5 hours, or 3 hours, please send J-Pav a list of proxies. One week to finish an 8 round draft is ridiculous.

One round per day seems like a perfectly fine pace to me. What's the hurry?

I would hardly call wanting to move quicker than one round per day 'in a hurry'.

Some of you are probably new to live drafting on the Boards. One round per day is exceedingly slow.

The only reason I am trying to move this along is that I would prefer not to have to check in here multiple times per day. But if nobody else if bothered, then I won't be either. If slow is the will of the people, then slow it is!

Have to agree with Big. Frustrating to keep checking boards and find that we're not moving. Losing interest fast.

When rickburr resurfaces, it's Day 7 - Round 7. I guess that is the will of the participants.

Here's the deelio. If we finish tomorrow, or trickle into Friday, I will build out the league so the East and Central can start loading. I'll have one of the West participants on board to fill the league NO EARLIER than 9am on Saturday morning. The autodraft will run and you guys can have a full week (or at worst "most" of the week) to fine tune.

The first games will be played on February 1st.

*Note: With your top seven players already selected, maybe there is no need to have a full week to tweak the rosters and you guys want to load before Friday night (leaving a Sunday waiver draft and January 25th start date). Although I'm doubtful we can get that done, I'm completely open to the suggestion.

Two days, one round. zzzzzzzzzzz For the record, I enjoy drafting at a brisker pace in much the same way I prefer driving 40 MPH vs. 20 MPH. I focus on the task at hand better and reach my destination faster which, as a NYer, counts for something.

That said, I don't really think it matters anymore. If there was a goal to draft in time to start Monday, that goal is no longer achievable. I personally don't think having 3 instead of 6 days to tinker matters.
