^^^ at the trade deadline, splinter, it hit me - what am I doing keeping these cards That have been deteriorating on me? So I dumped a bunch and got some much better cards. I had a good finish on the season, and the deadline moves helped a lot. Also kinda weird, that because we were playing late in the MLB year, the cards actually got "frozen" late in our strat year, because The MLB season had just ended, late in the strat year. So It was a perfect case for doing some fine tuning, dropping bad cards and picking up better ones.

Finding the good cards is challenging, because the salaries don't necessarily reflect the cards' true values. So you're not just looking for top cards- eg I picked up Greg Bird 1b late in the season at a low cost, but he had a really good card! For me it was a whole new strat experience. I am really looking forward to playing the baseball game this year! An opening MLB day season would be very cool , I think!
