Let's set the record straight on Richard B. Milter's (aka Radagast Brown) league messages as he is attempting to paint a very one sided picture, and he opened himself for this by posting my private message to him on this thread.
Here is his initial message. This after the first series when Schmidt goes down for 15. To fully set the context, I unfriended this fellow a couple of years ago on Facebook and he avoids mentioning me by name when quoting my post on a recent board thread. I did not interpret his post as an expression of good will and responded in what I believe was the provacative intent of his post.

Bruce,
tough break about Mike Schmidt. I guess you will have to drop Mike Schmidt for Mike Schmidt until Mike Schmidt gets better.
Radagast
Radagast,
I see that prison had little effect on your ethical sensibilities, as only someone who is ethically challenged would even entertain the underhanded chicanery you presume I will engage in.

Bruce, I was not accusing you of doing something underhanded. The way I understood it this was part of the game at this cap level. I was told this was common practice among these leagues..
I went to prison for marijuana possession, I have no shame in that, I would think a true Druid would understand....
Richard
ps. If anything my message was a comment on the problems of an unlimited cap .... Isn't dropping one card for another card of the same player allowed in these leagues?
(At this point I was wondering if I had misinterpreted his intent.)

Bruce,
If anything it seems it would be silly of you not to drop one Schmidt card for another...???? That's funny that you thought you could shame me about having been to prison. I am proud to have survived prison and stood tall in my beliefs. Many people in my position snitch, I stood tall like a man...

Didn't you quit the game years ago only to come back under another alias? Aren't you the one always complaining like a little girl that the game isn't perfect... I am going to enjoy this, You know nothing about me... Some Druid, you probably haven't been to the woods in years old man...

Are there any other "unwritten rules" of yours we must follow?

No doubt you wasted mommy and daddy's money on this credit. You have no chance of competing in this league. There will be no further messaging between us. Run your mouth all you like.

Is this where you take your ball and go home? You going to tell me the rules tough guy or do I have to read your mind?
This was a league wide message he sent next -

What are the "unwritten rules" regarding dropping one player's card for another card of the same player? I am getting mixed messages from the commissioner. Thanks

Your daughter must be so proud... 1500 teams, that is four years of college paid for.. What's your winning percentage? Same as mine? You would think after 1500 teams you would have gotten a little better- guess not.

You are correct technically. It is not against the rules and nothing is EVER formally stated regarding the practice by those of us who create these leagues, but I do think it is gaming the game and view it as an unsavory practice - which is my personal opinion. There were some lengthy and heated discussions four or five years ago about this with no real consensus emerging but a lot of polarized feelings resulted. I don't do it myself but others can do as they wish. I also don't have an issue with dropping one WIllie Mays card for a different card of his. My objection is to dropping a guy when he is injured, using a lesser card of the player's for the duration of the injury, and then bringing the original card back once the injury is over. But again it is not illegal, just questionable in the eyes of many managers.

Well you might want to let the others know your rules because there is definitely some confusion... What was this league entitled again? Oh yeah, "Live Draft Done Right"...
After this Mr. Milter decided to present his case to the entire community as is seen in the foregoing posts.
