In the immortal words of cosmo kramer:

Poise Counts!

for the translation challenged:
This means that when asking people to weigh in with an opinion on an issue you present, while you might counter-argue, its probably best not to go off the rails when they give you that opinion-- which once again, you asked for.

Otherwise just state your case and say; "I dont want anyone to give me an opinion unless it agrees with what I said."

"I dont want anyone to give me an opinion unless it agrees with what I said."

Looking at that from a different angle. Everyone is free to have an opinion that does not agree with what I say. After all it is your constitutional right to be wrong.

Just kidding folks. Don't stone me. I am behind on my health insurance premiums.

Set the cap at 240 or 250 and this isn't a problem. Or note the rules. Then there are no uncertainties. Everyone knows the rules going in and is on equal footing.

I play unlimited cap very infrequently, not a preferred style for me personally. But I can see how the different strategies can make it an interesting game.

If I had a dime for every credit I used in league format that I didn't like...LOL

What 4 year college is $9K per year? I have two daughters creeping up on college years and I'll start buying them school sweatshirts so I can push them in that direction!!! More money for retirement !!!!!!!

The main issue here, that once again we seem to be missing, is........if Salty loves his dog, why won't he allow it to pee in the house?

HAH HAH!!

Salty (or his awesome Dog) Plays the Bass, not the cello; (there are a million double bass jokes)
the druid has seen some video of me playing and of course the dog had to bark right in the middle (probably played a wrong note), If you are on facebook, you are more than welcome to go see it, the double bass, me AND the K-9; but it could easily be mistaken for a cello. Bad Druid! :P

Also, if it makes the doc howser happy, I will let the dog pee in the house 8-)
In fact, she might be able to use the toilet, b/c she is pretty bright, but mobility might be a bigger issue.

The bottom line is this, I was nothing but polite to this guy, I even used to defend him.... I asked him one question about what rules we are using and he brings up prison and my parents? Does anyone think he would say that stuff to my face?

I just wanted to know the rules and the next thing I know he is telling me I have no chance to compete....??? Does that mean I don't deserve to know the rules or be treated with respect?

I will put this out there, sure he might be good when playing, for the 150th time, ATG8 and no salary cap but join just one Mystery Game league or any league with a reasonable salary cap and we will see who the better manager is...

Some of you are no better than I. Strether, who was annoying and argumentative yes, but also probably has some serious mental health issues... Picking on the weak is easy....Bullies and people who try to intimidate anonymously over the Internet or act like your friend one minute but first chance they get pile on like everyone else are cowards. You know who you are... To all of you, even the jerks I say enjoy- it's a game after all. Cheers!

Getting back to the original question. What's wrong with dropping a player you own for a different card of the same player? Don't see why that would pose a problem.
