Bill correct me if I'm wrong but didn't you trade me your second round pick?

Yep I did. It wasn't recorded on the last roster sheet I checked probably happened after I received. Guess I should have grabbed McCann in round one, almost did.

I also guess I can stop checking the threads every hour to see if any picks have been made.

Sorry guys Smokey & I have both been out today. He told me he will pick later in the evening, sorry for the delay. Of course I offered proxy but looks like he is still out. Let's cut him some slack as he did crunch the Excel for us on Friday.

And Stoney, I offered McCann for pretty much any LF. Blanco was in there too. And it was an opening offer as you know. But more than that, I seem to recall saying that Hundley was going to get enough of a Coors adjustment to make him marginal at best, which he is. I also mentioned that I don't usually go for RHB with decent but not exceptional OB and rate them to perform to the card because of the handeness discount. MCann's OB vs RHP is 28 but will play like 33 or 35. Hundley's OB vs RH is 38 but will play like 30 or 32. It happens every year, teams with good RHBs bich & moan about how their guys did not perform to card. Well there's a reason for that.

And more than that, I was just being a little gleeful about you guys targeting Cs this early when there are so many all bunched up lying around, like decent RPs. There are no standouts and plenty of depth to be found. I just don't buy into McCann as a major prospect. I find the elite Cs carry value year to year, but many Cs get so few PAs that they have very inconsistent cards so just not worth drafting them high IMHO.

Sorry Bill - I will do my best not to be aware in the future. The ironic thing is I had missed my turn that round because I was in class teaching, so I wasn't really paying attention.
