Who has been your best Strat player all time?

What player has been the best player for you in your strat career? The player that has been a part of a good number of your championships, your most reliable player. This may not be the best all time player but the player that has helped you the most.

Mine by far has been Jeff Bagwell. The guy puts up video game numbers in small parks, big parks, any park. He has been a part of most championships I have won. Babe Ruth is my favorite player and the greatest player of all time but Bagwell has been my best player in strat.

In the online game, maybe Luis Tiant or Don Sutton(I do love my pitchers)
High cap leagues Turkey Stearnes or Duke Snider
"normal" cap probably Rod Carew or Mel Ott

Don't have any such player. There are some guys I like as good values but no one close to the status of a golden go to guy. Back when I first started playing atg, probably Larry Bowa came closest.

I, too, have no such go-to guy. But for low-salaried players, I have had good results from the likes of Red Shea (RP) and Red Smith (3B), Buddy Bell (3B) and Buck Herzog (IF). At a higher range, Mike Donlin has performed well for me while not breaking my salary bank.

100m+ Snider , Griffey, Bonds [12.95] -Gibson - Nathan

80m + Aaron [8.9] -Hess - Arroyo

60m + Reyes - Newhouse [6.16] - Abernathy

I will use I. Rodriquez at all caps and probably is the player I use the most. V.Pinson is another go to player I use often. On the pitching side the [4.8] McNally is an automatic on my draft card at 80m and less.
