Hey Ghost, I have a couple of rule clarification questions. (Sorry for not asking earlier but they didn't occur to me until now.)

1) yesterday I read this under the prospect rules, "a four round Prospect Draft will be held immediately following the Free Agent Draft" but I didn't realize until today that the initial Prospect Draft is 6 rounds. Why the discrepancy? And maybe I'm missing something, but it seems that if we all have 6 prospect picks and only 6 spots on our prospect rosters, won't it be impossible to trade prospect picks (and later prospects) without getting a prospect pick (or prospect) back? This seems to take away a significant avenue for rebuilding. Is it too late to have the initial Prospect Draft also be only four rounds so that there will be some room for trading?

2) In terms of having played in an MLB game, I'm assuming this means only regular season games or does having only played in the post season also make someone eligible for the free agent draft and not the prospect?

I was just about to ask the same question regarding #2 on your list.

If a guy only plays in post-season, but no regular season, does that still count as a mlb game and thus draftable, or is he still a prospect?

guess we all want that guy who played his first game in the playoffs, rather than change rules and make exceptions
I propose we leave it as written a MLB game and draftable of course said player will not be carded and thus you are using a roster spot for a prospect type player...(especially as that team has a really good SS)

the prospect draft was an oversight
but i don't remember what the thinking was at the time, I may have simply copy and pasted that rule from another league

If the vice commishes agree 4 rounds would be better....

If you recall Dr. P; in the world keeper league I traded all my prospect picks to move up in the draft and won it all in year one....then tanked in year 2 due to lack of depth...

but it was worth it....

this run of short stops makes me feel better about taking Bogaerts
I almost talked myself into taking someone else....

anybody picking in the next couple picks (turtle, hkmossy, lev, gbrookes) if you are interested in trading your 1st round pick for my 2nd round pick and a future pick or picks or prospect pick(s), let me know by PM or text or email.
