Actually, per SOM drop down menus of available players, the expansion era started in 1967, so if we are limited to home field expansion era stadiums for each team, stadium choices should be 1967 and later.

As per my previous post I'm allowing any stadium from the entire Post WW2 ATG 8 set with the exception that all teams use a stadium they played in.

For example the Giants will have Candlestick 78 only available to them. Oh wait I might have omitted a stadium I'm thinkin Candlestick 1961 would also be available, like Bonds needs the help....

Why can't they also choose SBC Park '05, or Polo Grounds 1957?

I hope the Yankees and Red Sox get their teams in soon so that we can get this show on the road.

Also, Mr. commish, how will the order of free agent selections be determined? Will it be by random numbers or will it be the same as the waiver order?

Will pitcher free agents be selected in the opposite order of hitter free agents or will free agent selection be whoever you want (pitcher or hitter) in no particular order?

When setting up my team I thought of a question - Has anyone ever played his career with the Rangers? I think 1/2 my guys played with either the Yanks or Angels and the other 1/2 played on scattered teams of which most are in this league. Forget Tinker/Evers/Chance, I may have Bert Campaneris/Bump Wills/Pete O'Brien. This would have been much easier before free agency.

After the draft first you will need to check to make sure you have no illegal players. If you decide to keep a drafted player as your FA then you will need to announce to the league on the league message board you are keeping player ABC as your FA selection. Once a FA selection has been announced that player will be on your roster for the duration of the season. You can drop a drafted player, then later pick that player back up and declare them your designated FA. Before the season starts you can drop and pick up as many FA's as you want as long as they are legal for your team or players you are trying to fill holes in your lineup/pitching staff. To emphasize once a player is announced to the league as your designated FA they remain on your roster for the duration of the season. You do not have to declare a FA Pitcher/Hitter before the season starts you can wait and pick someone up after the season starts. At the start of the season if you have a player who is not legal to your franchise they will be assumed to be your designated FA this is to prevent a GM from dropping/adding players but never actually declaring their FA. As there are numerous players who played for multiple franchises make sure you have ranked all you players accordingly.

To answer BDWard FA will be first come first grabbed after the waiver period ends. You can select your FA in any order you choose. You may also select your FA during the waivers period they become permanent after you declare them.

I sent Bmilner a PM asking if he is still going to participate. If he doesn't respond in 48 hours then I will reopen the last spot. If anyone is currently in a league with him could you post a message asking him to respond. Due to the construction of this league I was hoping for some extra time to evaluate and integrate players.
