If I remember right from what I read Boldodone and Stanazol were the first test he failed. His response was he could not understand how that stuff got in his blood. He never used anything. Some inadvertent over the counter supplement that was not labeled properly maybe.

While serving suspension for that he tested again for Boldodone garnering second suspension. After that all I would be eating is Beans and taters. Yet finally while still under suspension failed a third test for Boldodone. Strike three.

I can understand the temptation, especially if you lack confidence and think you need some help. But after that second test I would have someone watching everything I got near to make sure it was clean. I succeed or fail at that point but I do so without cutting any corners. And now without any stats and history to make his case he is in same boat with Pete Rose.

What makes you think they don't??

All MLB players are subject to drug testing, it's part of the CBA.

I should have added my tongue in cheek emoji. It was just a reference to the fact that the Mets seem to find the most dominant young pitchers, including Wheeler coming back this year, and even 300 lb, 40 year old guys are dominant when they pitch there. Colon even admitted he passed on more money to stay.
Probably just something in the water which also allegedly makes the Pizza better as well! I have my reservations about cheese pizza but no reservations on how good the Mets staff is.
