According to the rule, bcp7 needs to throw back Tris Speaker - pick uggula - then pick another "S"
12 - If you happen to run out of Salary Cap room during the draft OR if you wind up at the end and notice that you don't have a legal team you MUST FIX your team the following way:
a) drop the HIGHEST SALARIED PLAYER you have and re-pick an available player at the same letter that fills your requirement. If there are no players at that letter, move to the next one
until you get a legal pick. If your issues is that you have one too many Pitchers, you drop your HIGHEST Salaried Pitcher to pick a hitter. Same goes with Hitters to take a pitcher, Hitters to take a Cacther, or SP's to take an RP. ….etc..
When in doubt, ask me and I will make a ruling.
b) your replacement pick is immediate and then you continue until you have a legal team
c) please try and not let this happen !
…..if would be very helpful if you can keep a running total of your salary after each pick. However, I will be monitoring myself nightly.
d) the player thrown back is not available to be picked. Again, let's not let this happen because this is another problem that gets people annoyed.
My Ruling:This rule was created a looooong time ago before we had MULTIPLE cards in ATG which made this draft MUCH MUCH harder. 11 out of 12 of us have been using the lowest prices all along and probably have a TON of cap room. bcp7 has not been....probably because he's smartly trying to build a team now rather than later.
Rule 12 d) was created so that that throwing TRIS SPEAKER back in mid-draft would cause problems to the people who had "S" before and would have liked Speaker had he been available so we made is unavailable to anyone.
...but since this is the last round, I'm going to rule:
1 - Throw Tris Speaker 11.91 back
2 - Pick Uggula
3 - Re-pick ANY "S" you want that's left (Including 10.06 Tris Speaker)
I trust no one will have issue with this. He fell short by 0.94 when he should have had at least 15 mil alone left from Tudor and Elston Howard.
