Injury on a single?

PostFri Mar 04, 2016 7:49 am

In 70s mystery tourney, Sal Bando faced Mike Marshall and was injured on a single. What? How is that possible? What card does he have?

Since I am in the tournament (not your bracket) its probably not right for me to tell you which card. You should do the work by using the following hint - Find out which card he can get injured on if he is hitting in clutch. Just by looking real quick, I know you have one of two cards. Find out what arm the pitcher throws with when Bando got injured, and remember an out in a clutch situation turns into a single plus two bases, but the injury result still occurs. In other words, an out plus injury turns into a single + injury in clutch situations if there is a dollar sign in front of the die roll result.

Another possibility is on ground balls depending on whether it's a gba.

Thanks for the input. I had not forgotten that about clutch.
