I went back through the thread and the emails and compiled some of the votes.

Lifting the Prospect Status 2 year limit was the only proposal to gain more than a few votes of support, so this post will call for its official vote:

Proposal: It will no longer be required to promote prospects after 2 years.

Roger said no, but it seemed like he wasn't necessarily voting. I didn't look for the other proposals, but I seem to remember at least 5 people saying no. Jay, if you disagree, we can have a formal vote. More soon.

Edit: Russ voted yes.

The proposal to lift the 2 year limit on prospects originally included a provision for a limit of 10 total prospects. I will vote yes for the Grey, if the proposal includes that provision.

However, if the resolution is only to remove the 2 year restriction I vote no.

It appears the following proposal has passed:

#1. Lift the 2 year limit on Prospects.

No longer need to promote or cut prospects after 2 years.

Teams will still be limited to 10 prospects.

I don't think my other proposals generated much support so I'll remove the need to vote for them.

Gentlemen - I have the 1/12/13 picks in the draft. I plan on using the #1 & am 99% sure I will draft Jackie Bradley Jr. (It's been going around after lunch with Rick & Ted). However, while there are certainly enough excellent bats in the first couple rounds, there are not many quality SPs, if any really a few #3's 4's & 5's...

I am in need of a #1 & #2 SP. The bats at the end of the first round may help someone else out there more than their surplus starters...

Also, I'm willing to talk moving both Brantley & Goldschmidt.

I also have the #1 prospect pick.
