Normally the prospect draft is only 2 rounds after the initial year, but the rules don't specify.
Not to mention the fact that we are only carrying 6 slots and hardly anyone will be able to make 3rd and 4th round picks next year.
That's a good point. Considering I have two trades already involving prospect picks in next years draft I hope we either get more picks to hold (instead of just six) or at least two of my four this year get carded for next years game. Wow, good job hveed. I missed that six prospect limit when I read the rules. Or it just didn't sink in.
Plus you have traded your 3rd and 4th round prospect picks, which I assume means that, at least for next year, the prospect draft will continue to be 4 rounds.
Yeah, maybe we need to do some refinement of the rules for the future. Two prospects instead of four seems pretty smart - after next years prospect draft.

There is almost no chance you will be able to make that pick anyway, you would have to promote or cut 2 prospects to even to have space for that pick.
I'll just promote a couple prospects next year...regardless of whether they get carded or not. I think the real issue lies in prospect drafts after next years. There might be some problems then in being able to sustain non-carded prospects in your 30-man roster.
