9th inning, Ryan seeks 3rd no hitter v. White Sox. Classic!

Great 9th inning finish as Nolan Ryan attempts his 3rd career no hitter against the White Sox. We see HOFer Ryan at his best. Fellow HOFer Frank Robinson had homered off near HOFer Jim Kaat earlier to give Ryan a 1-0 lead heading into the bottom of the 9th. Near HOFer Dick Allen plays a pivotal role and the game is announced by HOF broadcaster Harry Caray. Holy Cow! Enjoy!

Great stuff, this is why we love baseball. The drama is unmatched of course had this happened to end one of our games here in strato land all fingers would be pointed at HAL and how he screwed up the bullpen or defense subs or some crazy notion of normalization. Seriously though the number of no hitters is impressive. But almost as impressive is the number of 1 hitters and number of times he took a no hitter in to the 9th inning.

Longtime since I saw any Harry Carey from the earlier pre-Cub days.

I don't think some of us here in strato land would point fingers, because they think all is perfect...always just how it's supposed to be.

Fortunately for many of us, those types don't run real Baseball...Imagine if they did...there would be no investigating the throwing of that world series...or steroids... what steriods? Those homeruns numbers are statistically possible so no need to even question them.
