ACE SP s6/r3/c0 relief options

I have my ace pitcher as a S6/R3/C0. He is also my 2nd best reliever. I have him as my 2nd guy in all my bullpen settings, except mop up and closer. Through 36 games he has never been used as a reliever. I know I have seen games where the ace pitcher will get put into a game i.e. orel hershiser from the 1980's set. I know this is a glitch but did the glitch get fixed? Does the pitcher have to have 4days rest from his previous start before he could be used as a reliever?

Adam Warren is the pitcher in question...He was scheduled to start the next game and my best reliever was tired--he was not used in this game. There was plenty of opportunity for HAL to put in the second middle man/setup/behind and late but instead used other relievers and it almost cost me the game.

As for me, I have been able to use a starter as a reliever if he were to start every six games, but not five games. I'm not aware of Hershiser'glitch though.

okay, maybe that's it...In the 80's game Hershiser is a s7/r4. A guy had him as a closer/setup/middleman--he was used constantly in relief as well as a starter.
