I think this concept has run it course. Time to pull the plug

I think we're feeling the brunt of tournament season. Let's give it a little bit longer before giving up.

I will bite and go with my childhood love, the Washington Senators.

I read through the posts and have the feel of what's going on. I should be able to auto draft all core 5 and 4 players? But if one of my core 4 players is already protected by another team because they had him the previous season, then I can't auto draft. I can auto draft all 1,2, and 3 players, unless protected as one of 20 players on another team already?

Also is not Pascual available to the Senators, if he is not protected by the Twins? He should be a core 4 for Twins (but is listed as a core 5) and had one carded post 1961 season for Senators, but he is not shown on Senators spreadsheet roster.

I thought Passqual was a Core5 for Senators/Twins. I didn't list him as keeper for that reason but it is my attention to keep him.

Welcome CrustyCrab53. First off you're right, Pascual should be Core4 for the Twins, thanks for the catch I'll make the change in the spreadsheet. Fench33, please adjust ur keeper list as you indicated.

I checked and don't see where any of your Core5 or 4 have been protected. You can auto draft any guys carded to the Senators/Rangers that aren't Core4 for another franchise (those Core4's can be picked up by you during waivers if not auto drafted) or any Core that are protected by one of the participating franchises.

I'll review this forum string for everyone's keeper list. If you haven't submitted do so now, thanks.

Fire me any questions.

Re: Franchise/Mystery League - #2 filled, POST Keepers

OK guys we have our 12th manager. For those of you that didn't see the game 7 outcome of the Yanks v Twins series you have to check it out.

We will be loading to align divisions as historical as possible. The West is easy but we have 5 old American East teams in the mix now. I'm inclined to go by geography (not that MLB did all the time) and put the newly acquired Senators in the East and the Tigers in the Central as indicated below. Anyone object? if so we'll vote on it.

Group 1 - East
Yankees - Champs of season 1!
Orioles
Red Sox
Senators

Group 2 - Central
Twins
White Sox
Cardinals
Tigers

Group 3 - West
Reds
Dodgers
Giants
Braves

I think the above is 21 players. No need to repost though as you have more than 5 Core5's on the list.

Adding Pascual but need to take off Bernie Allen. Can't keep a guy that wasn't on your roster after game 141, in Allen's case he wasn't on your roster all season. So you and the Senators can duke it out in the auto draft.
