Franchise League with a Twist 2.0 Draft

No one picks the Cubs. I already had my draft card set up for them.

That's mostly why I picked them. When we started talking about this season and a suggestion was made that we all use different teams, I figured the Cubs would be about as far fetched as I dared to go. Besides, when I suck again I have a ready-made excuse: the Cubs aren't supposed to win anything!

I'm a life long, long suffering White Sox fan and I wanted to take them in the worst way, as, even though SOM badly cheated them on expansion era player cards, they've had a number of good players play for them over the years. Thomas, Belle, Man Ram, Vizquel, Dick Allen, Ken Griffey Jr., Magglio Ordonez, Baines, Raines, Ventura, Sandy Alomar, Jr., Roberto Alomar, Bobby Bonds, Ellis Burks, Fisk, Carlton, Seaver, Wood, Sax all come immediately to mind without having to check Baseball Reference. The problem is that all those players played for multiple reams and there's no way one could get them all.

Ummm. Didn't they win one for ya? So not much suffering there, at least compared to the Cubs, Indians, Astros, Brewers, expos, Rangers, Mariners, Padres.

Not sure that this is the wisest choice, but decided to go with a team that doesn't normally get any love and see what happens.
