That is an interesting comparison. Aside from the "needs" of the team, Piscotty vs Sano is an interesting comparison. Apparently, nobody 'appreciated' Sano's defense last year. I think Sano's value comes down to his ability to play a position rather than just be a DH. I think Piscotty's 2015 card has more value than Sano....but Sano may have more of an upside in the long run.
I took Gutierrez because he is MURDERING the ball in the leagues I'm in, and it's tough to bypass a guy with a .620 SL %. That is big time. If this were the advanced injury league, I would have taken Piscotty instead.
