annual baseball trip with sons to a ballpark we have not been to this year is to Milwaukee (last yr St Louis) have never been to Milwaukee any tips on where to stay near ballpark and what to do during the day. We will be going to 2 night games on 6/9 and 6/10 . thanks
Depending on weather, the beaches on the lake are fun. We visited Bradford beach which had volleyball and dodgeball tourneys. BUT June may still be a little cold in Milwaukee.
Since you are close to Chicago (very driveable), maybe squeeze in a Cubs or Sox game. The Tour of Wrigley Field was really fun.
almost forgot, eat brats at the Park. Miller is one of our faves (from our various baseball tours-- up there with PNC, ATT and Rogers Centre (as long as you stay in the hotel with the view of the field))
sounds like a lot of fun. being in the Midwest you have so many great sports cities to choose from. I try to make my yearly pilgrimage to dodger stadium. that place just makes me feel good. I regret that my lone trip to fenway was in the lost decade of the eighties and I was too drunk to remember any of it. scratch that, I do remember almost getting tee boned by a trolly on the way there (I wasn't driving).
Go up top and get your picture taken with Bob Uecker statue! Based on his "I must be in the front row" Miller Lite commercials. It is a MUST Have picture from the trip. And meet Bob himself if possible. Great Ballpark food and no fear of rainouts with a retractable roof. For a small market they did this park right like Pittsburgh, Baltimore and Cleveland.
