Daily Franchise Lottery League

This theme league is created for those who love both the new Baseball Daily and Franchise Leagues. It is designed to be as fair as possible based on the rules that will follow.

1- Purchase a 140mil Daily Team based on your Franchise of course. Play in your team's ballpark of course. Team name should fit Franchise. On your draft card you can only have players from your Franchise. Your completed ready to load autodraft card and your starting roster on Opening Day can be no more than 100mil, not 140mil. This will be explained as we go forward with the rules.

2- Once the season starts any team who suffers an injury of 4 games or more can increase their roster limit by $5mil. IOW, Player A gets injured for 10 games. The next day (morning after inj) you may up your roster cap to $105mil due to that injury. If two players get injuries of 4 or over in one night, then you can increase your roster to $110mil. You may continue to do this until you reach the max of $140mil. This roster cap will not go down. For example, if two injured players returns and everyone else is healthy your roster cap is still $110mil. Default cap hit for Daily game is 5%.

3- As you sign up you may sign up by any available number 1-12. The higher desired numbers will limit the number of Free Agents you may have on your roster. Here is how it will work:

3A - A free agent is any player NOT on one of the 12 Franchises.

3B - If you sign up with #1 then you have first pick of Franchises. Sign up with #2 and you get second pick. And this proceeds all the way through #12.

4- Now let's discuss the Free Agents everyone is allowed to have. Use the chart below to see how many free agents you can own. To repeat, a free agent is any player NOT on one of the 12 Franchises.

Free Agents are first come first serve during the 11pm frenzy the day the league drafts. You cannot at any time have more free agents than you are allowed. You can of course drop a free agent and pick up a different one. If someone accidentally has more f.a. than allowed, I reserve the right to strip that Owner of one of their free agents. It dependes on the severity. You may also save your free agents until later to help with injuries, etc. The cap that goes up when you suffer an injury will help of course.

Some examples how the sign up process will work:

Say you want to sign up #6 - The sixth picked Franchise and 4 free agents. Go ahead and put your name at that number to claim it. Once 5 picks are made then it's your turn to pick your franchise. Basically that is how it works for all numbers. Whomever signs up #1 goes first and so on.

In summary:

* Buy a $140mil Daily game team
* After you know your franchise fill out your draft card with your Franchise players totaling no more than $100mil
* The day the league fills get ready for that night's frenzy so you can acquire your free agents. No more than your allowable number of course. And as mentioned, you can elect to wait.

The Cubs currently have only 13 position players. I propose that if not enough franchise players are available to fulfill minimum draft card that a .50 player of a FA team be selected as a placeholder.
