In that case I am voting no in both leagues because there is information available that is affecting decisions within the current season which is already started. And in my opinion its never a good idea to change the rules in the middle of anything. This should be an off season change.

Usually this would be the right approach, but the season just started and we as a league might lose some more players and this would head off a disaster like Harper or Kershaw getting hurt and the manager losing them forever- it can really set a team back for years.

Life is full of risk. In this very league, one on my prospects (Oscar Taveras, who would probably be raking for St Loius now) was killed in the offseason. I wasn't even given a compensatory prospect pick.

Fixing a broken keeper team is half the fun in my opinion. And I don't particularly enjoy playing with managers who quit when their team gets bad anyway.

All of the votes are in and being able to keep an injured player has passed. Using an AL example of what this means: Darvish can't be kept Bird can be kept the owner that has Bird will have to play the season with 26 active players.

I can't see why we just can't have a 28 Man Roster which includes your IR Keeper. You still get to play with a 27 man Roster which would be available to everyone. You still have to drop to 15 prior to the draft. Just an idea!

Hi,

Can anyone remember if I posted here or in an email (or if I thought about it and didn't post it all)? I was wanting to use the lottery results from the day after the regular season instead of the day after the end of post season. Not sure if I did a post on the subject and don't want to do it wrong. If someone remembers let me know. Also, I guess its a good time to sign up if you are returning.

On another note there will be no extra picks for the untimely death of Jose Fernandez.
