I was sorry to see Kev trade away pick #1, because I thought he'd go for somebody with long-term potential.

Unfortunately, AZ grabbed Parker for short-term pop, just like I would have.

I have Parker in 2 pre-card leagues. He is the #1 batter in both and, after 111 games, he's already hit 61 HR in one league and 58 in the other.

*sigh*

Yeah, Parker on a 100-loss team probably wouldn't have worked out well for me. Parker enabled me to get a fairly good young SS and 3B, as well the #8 pick and a prospect. Yeah, gotta look ahead. Sorry I messed up your plan a #2!

I know some leagues love to have separate draft threads for all kinds of stuff. Personally, I find it harder to track information that way, update rosters, etc. - so I keep one thread for all, in my leagues
