the rule is opening day roster must be $100 mil. Are u now saying at no time during the frenzy can you exceed $100 mil? How can you possibly monitor that? Whats the penalty if your math is bad?

Rules Quote does not mention during frenzy, Only drafted team and opening day

"Your completed ready to load autodraft card and your starting roster on Opening Day can be no more than 100mil, not 140mil."

I don't want anyone "hoarding" players after the frenzy. There should be a gentlemen's agreement to stay around 100mil after the frenzy up to opening pitch. We should not employ a "keep away" poilcy, which is what it is when we keep 120mil worth of players for a 100mil max allowed rule. There won't be any penalties for possibly going slightly over 100mil, but I might ask you the next day to get down to 100mil should someone be over.

And no, the rules doesn't exactly say the above verbatum, but it's what I meant by saying everyone's max is 100mil up to Opening Day. Does anyone have issues with this?

That is fine and I will be under $100 mill by the end of the night. I just do not want to be encumbered during the frenzy worrying if I made a FA pickup out of order that temporarily put me over $100 mill.
Plus we would need an accounting firm to go back and review every transaction to assure that no one ever exceeded $100 even for a brief moment.

Yeah, no one is going to be monitoring everyone's budget to the dollar while the frenzy is taking place. I understand that.
