Event 1 status -need 1 filler for League 8, League 9 created

I got SOM to move mazzterr to League 5, so it down to the following 2 leagues, and 3 fillers.

Going to a first come first served format now for the following 3 filler managers: palmuth, kellysheroes, and Bernieball...,1 open slot in each of the following leagues, need to load today if you want in:

League 6: pw F6
League 8: pw H8


I have a team ready to load as a filler if I don't see these filled by 8 pm EST tonight, too.

If any other non-Tourney managers would like to be a filler, drop a note here and load today asap.

I'll obviously need to overbook leagues in future events given the lack of reliability and respect by the MIA managers

I filled League 6 myself.

Unfortunately, League 8 will not kick off until week 2. I contacted the managers who said just this week they'd be fillers, and despite multiple attempts, I never received a response.

That, on top of the 16 or so no-show managers who signed up for the Tour only to ignore their commitments, caused a delay that hopefully we overcome quickly enough this week.

I just created League 9, for those managers who deferred to week 2 (listed in the Event 1 assignments). Hopefully they load quickly so I don't run into another scrambling situation.

Additionally, a lesson I should have learned from JPavs experience last year - I'm going to overbook leagues by 2 managers each going forward. So first 12 to load will be in with the leftovers making up either a new league or filling in spots due to other no shows.

Again, I apologize to those of you in League 8 who entered in a timely manner, and are stuck with waiting another week.

I have an open request on the main forum for someone to fill that last spot, but please feel free to seek one yourselves, as well. My only ask is it not be filled by another Tourny player if at all possible, although we may have to go that route. Sebastian, who is in the Tour, has already reached out to me to fill another spot if need be.

Totally forgot the deadline, maybe because we just finished last year's final. So sorry to mess up on joining League 7. Can you switch me to league 8 or 9 or should I just wait until next event. Really sorry about sleeping on this--just thought it was a week later for some reason.
