Almost. We started with the 2001 season, back in March 2010

We've certainly had a flurry of activity recently, but if you take a look at the Results tab in the league Google doc, you can see that 5 of us have been here from the start, plus Meat joined us in the 2nd season.

I just went back to the old archives to double-check, and I was right: I have had David Ortiz on my team for every one of this league's 15 seasons! My first 6 picks in 2001 were: Chipper, Wagner, Derrek Lee, Santana, Mussina and Ortiz.

Damn. Not only do you weasel Turner from me (at least I was hoping he would make it to the 2nd round), but you use my pick to take him!

i realize this may be the pot calling the kettle , but does reelin in the years refer to our drafts ?

I don't (didn't and still don't) want derail this excellent league. The mistakes were all mine.

Due to illness, by mind was working at about 30% (or less) until yesterday afternoon. I'm not dying - I was just really sick.

My apology is sincere.

I love my team, and I'm glad to leave it to my replacement with excellent prospects for the future.

My main mistake was that I should have just said (2 months ago or more) "thanks for trying to accommodate me, but I really must opt out". I'm just over-committed. When I got sick this week, and made several errors, I just realized that I needed to have withdrawn 2 months ago.

I don't have any issues with any of you, whatsoever, except for the ones that I created myself. But there is no ill will on my part.

Sorry everyone - I hope to stay friends with as many of you as possible.
