It's more of a denial to lose good picks later in the draft. Example is that Machado pick, he's not going to play him at SS, but by choosing SS, that will leave more SS available for future picks, since he still needs one. He does'nt care if more 3B get picked, since he already has his.

Ya'll keep in mind once that WC is used during the round, the next round can begin if that Owner is picking a position that an Owner during the current round could not pick. I didn't explain that well, but I'm sure you remember this from previous years.
