USKL 2 Chat/Trades

Pre-draft roster emailed. Please check it to ensure accuracy. Right now, only three of you dropped your park - Qksilver, Palmtana, and Edub - so Dave, Bob, and Ernie can draft new ballparks in that order (that is - the order I determined based on seniority in USKL 2) at any time on the league thread, pending confirmation that no one else dropped a park. Did I miss anyone?

Also, I think that Ernie (Edub), who has the first two picks, can start us off at any time. I don't provide an availables list, so I don't know if anyone wants to take on that job. I will create a separate draft thread. I had previously stated that the draft will begin officially on June 1, but that doesn't really matter, as the first round will be untimed, with a clock beginning with round 2. Does anyone recall whether it was a 2 or 3 hour clock. I believe it was in effect M-F 10 AM EST to 11 PM EST, but correct me if I am wrong about that.

And finally, we won today 4-1, so we will move on to play next Tuesday against the #1 seed. It should be a great matchup. We will be facing a potential draft pick (Sean Mooney from Ocean City HS here in NJ). He is one of the top high school pitchers in NJ, throws 90 and shut us out earlier this year on a 3 hitter with 13 Ks. Our guy (Kyle Gerace - Mainland Regional HS) was last year's South Jersey Player of the Year and is going to Rutgers to pitch on scholarship this fall. He sits 85 - 87 and has a nasty slider. He hasn't faced OC this season, but he has an ERA of under 0.40 this season. It could be a whoever scores first game.

That is only available if Bob does not select it himself. He has the right of first refusal, as he has more seniority in the league. Bob must choose before your selection can become official.

These 2 things are all I could find Dave so I'd say you are correct

2. Only players with cards are eligible for the draft. Sorry for those who scour minor league scouting reports, but if the guy doesn't have a card, he's not eligible.

A reminder on the rules... players must have a current TSN SOM players card to be eligible for the draft, and of course, can not be on any other teams 40 man roster
