1)Would love to improve starting pitching & will need to if I want to contend in a tougher div this time.

Well, I wanted Parker badly and nwo that I won the title, I have to give it my best shot at a defense. So I have the following deal to announce:

I get: Jarrett Parker, D Keuchel, Ian Kinsler, Kev's 10th round FA pick 2017
for
Kev gets: Nomar Mazara, Brandon Belt, Jimmy Rollins, my 3rd Rd. FA Pick 2017

Mazara is a prospect so I owe a drop, it will be Edinson Volquez.

Also, with the above deal my trade bait changes. I am now looking for a strong * SP or an SP/RP in the $5M+ range anbd an upgrade at C from Grandal/Gimenez. I have the following to offer:

I confirm. I knew our division mates would be mind-boggled, but my team with or without Parker/Keuchel would be buried this coming season by the big 3 in our division. It's all about 2017. Parker and Keuchel are unusable. I get 2 solid 2017 players and a high draft pick in return.....including a 21-year already hitting MLB pitching. Rolling the dice.

Yeah it's a bet on Mazara for sure, but Belt putting up a .900+ OPS vs both sides in AT&T with elite D is not too shabby. As I told Kev in my email, I would not give up Mazara lightly. kid is a 100% stud and perfect for my usually LH-hitting clubs. Selling out to defend my title...

It is with some regret that I will have to abandon my team
I am retiring from public school teaching after 27 years in the inner city.
Fate has given me an opportunity to go teach Math in Fuzhou China (near Taiwan).
As you might imagine there is a million things to do before I leave and with the 13 hour time difference juggling many (I had 7) teams would be too much to deal with as I struggle with moving, teaching, and an entirely, new to me, culture.

I enjoyed this league and when I am stateside again and retire from working will look to jump back into strato and no doubt will run into many of you again.

I do plan to keep a blog of my adventures and will send you all a link that you can ignore or live vicariously threw me.
