If we're going to do a message board draft, I'm ok with that - will make a point of signing in several times a day to try to keep up (when possible, that is; I do not have a 'smart phone', and never connect the computer to public networks). However, I will probably disappear for almost the entire day tomorrow (the 5th), and may be completely out of touch on the 9th-10th-11th.

So, is there a third party to whom I could send a ranked list of players whenever I'm about to become unavailable? (Yes, I would make the list a long one.) If so, then whenever I'm gone and my pick rolls around, that person could then simply select the first available name from that list, and problem solved - or at least, reduced.

Barkeeper - I think we can find you someone to be your proxy. You have a particularly easy position at #12 since you pick at the end of odd rounds and beginning the even rounds.

Looking forward to this league; will probably get my butt kicked, but it'll be fun and am hoping to learn a thing or two along the way.

You've all put me a tough spot here on this draft type issue, and I kind of object to it. I was fortunate enough to play in the Champions League 2 years ago in 2014, and it was AutoDraft as well. I don't recall having had to vote for Autodraft, nor of such a vote being a "traditional feature", but maybe I don't recall such a vote.

I've never had the time, nor inclination to ever have participated in any SOM League other than autodraft, and I wish to express my extreme objection regarding this vote.

However, that said, I will defer to the democratic process, and will do my best to comply with the vote for a live/bulletin board draft, or whatever. This is our (mystery card players) premier annual event, and although I'm pretty disappointed (ie pissed) over this, I only ask please for a small bit a guidance as to the mechanics of such a draft, and I'll do my best to keep up so we can PLAY BALL.

Can pick any stadium correct?

Attached is a link to last year's "live" finals draft using the 80s set. Just add you pick to this draft thread when it is your turn. I think a reasonable goal would be to get through 1 round each day, and complete 10 rounds here on the boards. Then everyone can complete their draft card with 15 players who were not live drafted. No stadium in the draft or restrictions, per majority vote.
