In steps S Marte, having to shake off the rust of not playing due to a contract dispute. Things are resolved now, and Marte is ready to play ball. Additionally, Rosario was given his unconditional release due to non-production. Taking his place Matt DenDekker, back after a short-lived run in the season's beginning.

Yeah, you're prolly right about Hawk. So, what are the details on Marte's contract? Did he get an opt out? I guess you missed what Dekker brought to the clubhouse eh?

Wow! I don't think one of my pitchers had done this before! A No hitter for Archer http://365.strat-o-matic.com/game/430046/418 Sorry Smokey.

Interestingly, he hit (and injured) two players and walked one. Only 11 of the 29 hitters rolled on their own cards.

Halftime Report on My Hitting/Fielding

Above expectations for both Miguel and Asdrubal Cabrera and much more production than expected from Peterson and Bourn.

Big disappointments have been Upton, Dozier and my catching combo of Y. Molina and Hanigan.

Fielding has been better than expected - especially in OF.

My midway report card: terrible. Everything is mediocre. Luckily, almost everyone but Joe is mediocre as well. I "misunderestimated" how hard it would be to generate runs.

I definitely don't like picking 12 in this card set. There is little danger of an accident like that happening next time. I'll see how I do from higher up.

I'm not sure how we're winning so many games. We haven't rolled on our cards, only a couple of guys are really having great years. I guess our pitching has been better than expected. Yeah, I guess that would be main thing.

In any case, we lost our only two 2bs at the same time so Dale will get to see who Hal picks to play 2b. We only have three subs (Cuddyer is hurt also) so I'm guessing it will be Semien.

I'll make it a priority to get to the ratings now that we cleared the halfway point and the moves should slow down.

Well, Semien made 2 of the four plays he got and made two errors and one single. Predictable I guess.

Every time I get a little momentum, bam! Get swept. Looking carefully over this squad, it should be performing better than their record. I've got several pieces that are just not performing like they do in other leagues I've seen this season, whether for me or against me. Wanted to come back to NLD and have a good showing, but alas, not the case.

Jeep, Don't know if this is what you wanted to see, but here are the ratings. I took the data a couple of days ago so if you see some changes, that's why. Here are the totals. No time tonight to comment, that will have to wait. Any thoughts?
