And Mike Trout comes off the free agent list...

How are the division's aligned in this league? 1-4-7-10, 2-5-8-11, 3-6-9-12? Or random assignment?

I am setting up the league now. Once I have it done I will notify everyone via this board and remind all of the rules.

League is created as Different Franchise League 2015. PW is Franchise

I put a 5% cap hit all season to encourage trading and help the teams who fall behind to make adjustments.

Rules reminders:

Team name is franchise name, ballpark is franchise ballpark

Put your three players from undrafted non playoff teams (pitcher any price, hitter any price, hitter or pitcher under 1 mil) as your top three picks on draft card. This means Atlanta, Cincinnatti, Colorado, Detroit, Milwaukee, Minnesota, Philadelphia and San Diego.

You must release players from other rosters that you end up with during waivers.

During the preseason and regular season you may drop/add any of your own team's players. You may drop/add any of the players from undrafted nonplayoff teams. You may trade undrafted nonplayoff team players from your roster. You MAY NOT at any time have another league members player on your roster.

80 mil, regular set (not unleashed)

Good luck to all, each team should have some serious deficiencies (especially those of us who drafted at the bottom)

Just to clarify, as it states in the initial post-the 3rd undrafted nonplayoff team player must always be under $1M during the regular season too. Right?

Yes, In other words you may only have 2 non-franchise players from undrafted non-playoff teams with a salary over 1M at any time and one below 1M. All other players are from your franchise.

This one line here makes we want a clairification:

You may trade undrafted nonplayoff team players from your roster.

To Clairify - we cannot have more than 3 of these players at one time, that is a pitcher, a hitter, and a under 1mil player. IOW, we cannot trade two undrafted nonplayoff players for one undrafted nonplayoff player. Correct?

Correct: You must always have a pitcher any price, a hitter any price and any other player UNDER 1 mil at all times that are from the 8 undrafted nonplayoff teams. 3 players total at all times

I'm not going to lie. I had 3 teams I was going back and forth on, but took the Angels to play a little defense. With all the salary teams have left over, i just knew that Trout would have ended up on one of my divisional foes and he would thwart me over those 24 games!!
These Angels are a piece of work. Trout and Pujols solo HRs will represent most of this team's runs all season.

The team that I think is 13th, and I have a feeling Kev was wrestling with as well, is Cincy. If only they had 2-3 more usable pitchers Cincy could have worked for someone.

I was wrestling between LAA and Cincy. Then at the 11th hour I switched to the Marlins. Hopefully the park will be an advantage. They are serious deficiencies with them.

When you're at the bottom of the draft order like we were, you just have to pick a strength and hope it carries you. I really thought long and hard about the offenses of Miami and Cincinnatti but couldnt stomach the pitching. I thought long and hard about Los Angeles because of Trout but ultimately chose Oakland for their starting pitching. Not that its all that great but it was the best remaining starting staff.
