+5 FRANCHISE LEAGUE II-PLAYER DRAFT !!

A little late to this, but I guess I'm confused. I was thinking (perhaps incorrectly) we could only have 5 players not on our original team and the total salary for them not be over $25M.

you get your franchise.
you draft 5 other players from franchises not selected. they cannot total more than 25 million. u can then trade anyone one u like, even your 5/25 million players. if u end up with more or less non-franchise players after trades etc so be it. however, the league total for players from non-selected franchises will never exceed 60 players. the nonfranchise players are assets to be used bartered whatever.

you cannot drop a non-franchise player and swap for a new non-franchise player in the fa pool. the 60 non-franchise players selected never changes.

I have no objection to someone changing a previous pick.

the non-franchise player u drafted counts against your 25 million fa draft

And please self regulate your 25 million fa budget for your 5 players. you don't have to pick 5 fa players but u must stay under 25 million. this is where our strategy and gms skills come into play.

if nymets99 are already over cap then they need to repack and come under budget. he sent me some proxy picks and I assume he wanted all 3 players so I picked for him twice.

sorry for all the posts, just woke up from night shift. so this is the official response to the trade of arenado by nymets99.

either the trade is rescinded or nymets99 must reduce the cost of one of their other picks-Goldschmidt or Carpenter. as soon as the Carpenter pick was made he was over the 25 million fa budget. so that pick should not have been made (it was a proxy pick and I didn't realize he was over at the time.) therefore that pick should not have been made. so NYMETS99 needs to announce his plan.
